Mega Ranhe/him

Raheem "Mega Ran" Jarbo is a musician, podcast host, author and DJ from Philadelphia. He found his tribe by making music about the video games, comic books, pro-wrestling and fantasy that inspired him as a youth, catching the attention of major developers like Capcom, WWE and more. After a move to Phoenix and some viral success with "Black Materia," an album about the hit game Final Fantasy VII, Mega Ran would quit his teaching job to tour the world full time as a musician in 2011. In 2014 he co-founded the Nerdy People of Color (NPC) Collective, focusing on celebrating marginalized people in geeky spaces. His music can be heard in WWE and AEW wrestling programming, as well as games like Mortal Kombat 1, TMNT: Shredder's Revenge and more. His newest album is "Buddy's Magic Toy Box," a children's album dedicated to his newly adopted son, featuring collaborations with JER, G.Love & Special Sauce and more. The album debuted at #2 on the Billboard Kid's Music Chart. Mega Ran currently is a Twitch partnered variety streamer and hosts the "X-Pod 97" podcast with Marcos Rivas, providing updates and reviews on Marvel's X-Men program between tours.
